Emerging in 2008, Mark slammed his first two feet firmly into the Underground circuit with instant effect & Proving that he was more than just your average DJ.

Evolving from a soulful house background Mark has now carved his signature sound playing Deep & Tech house that sustains strong elements of his soulful roots & has now created a raw and groove led style that earned him his residency with us.

In the three short years since Mark’s arrival, he has managed to rack up a pretty impressive CV, playing alongside some of the finest names in house music which includes, Dyed Soundorom, Matthias Tanzmann, Benoit & Sergio, Justin Drake & Bearweasel. Mark mainly hosts upstairs at *riffraff and has built his own following in there inviting guests down that compliment his own style.

Marks fan base has also grown out of his weekly underground Capture FM radio show that has listeners around the world in its thousands tuning in. The show hosts guest mixes from the likes of, Dani Casarano, Leif, Brothers’ Vibe, BLM & Audio Soul Project, Record label showcases’ & Live club night feeds From the weekend club in Berlin, Zoo Project & *Riffraff itself. Since its birth in Aug ’09 CaptureFM has gained a huge amount of respect & broadcasts’ to just short of 11,000 listeners worldwide.

Marks musical accolades doesn’t end there though; In 2010 Paul Bowen asked mark to fill the job role of label Manager to Luna records, one of the newest and most respected underground vinyl label‘s on the scene. The label has had a string of releases from, Matthias Tanzmann, Alex Jones, Santorini, Bearweasel, Justin Drake, Paul Bowen, Dan Drastic, Chris Lattner & So Inagawa, with more in the pipeline for 2011. Alongside running this label Mark is also involved with the organisation of Luna showcase event that is a monthly party which brings a Luna artist to the Middlesbrough Medicine Bar to portray the sound of the label.

With his debut EP released on Recycle Records that has gained the support from the likes of Huxley, Lee Pennington, Santorini, Guido Nemola, Paul Bowen & Brothers’ Vibe & The rest of his spare time spent in the studio working on future productions, keep your eyes and ears peeled as 2011 will without a doubt see Mark take them next steps a few more rungs up that underground ladder.
